The Carson Close-Up Monocular is a wonderful optical system ! It has outstanding optics, is easy to work with , is small , light weight . It has got the additional benefit of being able to target at an incredibly close length , I believe around 10 inches wide !!! This makes it an excellent option for looking not merely at parrots , distant mountain tops , etc . but at artwork in museums and galleries , cool the things i don\’t want to contact – similar to spiders or maybe bugs , for example . It appears to be nice and strong too . It\’s fairly compact and light-weight , lighter when compared to a tiny monocular I\’d planned to fight an upcoming getaway . This Carson monocular has swapped out my previous monocular and because of their small dimensions it will probably replace the binoculars pertaining to birding , climbing , etc .
